Heather MacRae, daughter of Gordon MacRae and Sheila MacRae pays tribute to her famous father thru the songs from his films including Oklahoma, Carousel and Desert Song. It was recorded live on the closing night of a favorite village night-club,Eighty Eights, and is a preserved piece of history. Heather MacRae has appeared on Broadway (Hair, Coastal Disturbances, Falsettos), many Off-Broadway shows and numerous nightclubs. Heather won the MAC AWARD for OUTSTANDING FEMALE VOCALIST with this exception show SONGS FOR MY FATHER directed by Barry Kleinbort and musical directed by Mark Nadler. The album just won the 2002 MAC AWARD for Female Recording of the Year!
