In 1967, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the original Little Songs, Argosy produced an album called It Could be a Wonderful World using new recordings of songs from the two original series (Little Songs on Big Subjects and Little Songs About UN). Leon Bibb and Ronnie Gilbert are the lead singers, and Robert De Cormier is the conductor. The wonderful cover was designed by Leo Lionni. The album uses humor and charm to fight against bigotry and for a better world. Here are some of the accolades and awards given to Little Songs On Big Subjects and Little Songs About UN. This album and its songs are available as meticulous digital restorations, done by Irwin Chusid, of the original 1967 recordings in all their monophonic glory.
