The John P. Murphy Foundation Theatre in Tri-C Metropolitan Campus (2809 Woodland Ave. Cleveland, Ohio, 44115)
2809 Woodland Avenue will get you to the garage entrance of Lot 5 – the closest parking for the Theatre. Parking is free. There is a map under the poster picture for your reference.
The theatre is located in the Theatre Arts and Media Center. To access the Theatre, go up one level (stairs or elevator).
There is an elevator in Lot 5 – on the left upon entering the garage - take it up one level - to the outdoor plaza/first floor level.
Upon exiting the elevator vestibule, the Theatre is directly on the left.
The seats in the front row can be removed for wheelchairs. Please call the office at 216-860-1518 ext 701 if you are using a wheelchair.
“Legendary Black Singers – Great Broadway Songs” is a must-see show honoring such great talents as Ella Fitzgerald, Lena Horne, Nat King Cole, Billie Holiday, Bobby Short and many others. The March 8 production at the First Baptist Church of Greater Cleveland will be hosted by LEON BIBB and the April 26 production at Tri-C Metro will be hosted by DEE PERRY. This very special concert was created by BILL RUDMAN and will feature live performances by NICOLE SUMLIN and EVELYN WRIGHT and accompanied by THE JOE HUNTER TRIO plus historic video clips and insightful commentary.
Please note: You do not receive a physical ticket since it is general seating. You just receive an email receipt. Once you reserve your ticket, all you need to do is check in at the check in table the day of the show. You do not need to bring the receipt.
